We are asking the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to discontinue the placement of rootwads above the 1065' elevation level of Lake Chelan, and only then with proper hazard marking. There appears to be lack of scientific evidence to indicate these obstructions benefit fish when they are placed in areas which are exposed half of the year but their unmarked locations just below the surface at high water are a certain danger to humans.
